This is only a Test

Everyday of our lives there will be a test, or trails, that will come against us, to attempt to derail us, or cause us to curse ourselves along the journey. However, it's not always what we do that will cause us to be successful along the way, but more so of what we say.

Take Job for example. He lost children, property, and wealth(not to mention his good name and even his health), all within moments of each other. But what did Job do? He fell to the ground and worshipped God, followed by blessing Him, because he knew the one who would sustain him(Job 1:21-22). Even Job's wife tried to get him to curse God(Job 2:9-10) and die, but he didn't, because he knew the power of the tongue(Proverbs 18-21). But the trials didn't stop there. Now the adversary has his friends condemning him, for sins he didn't commit, which had him questioning God what he did wrong. That's why is important to go into battle with those who are of like-mind or go into battle alone. But Job didn't quit, he knew he would be vindicated(Job 13:18), and eventually after going through all he did, he finally realized that through the trials, through the tribulations, God's plans for life wouldn't be altered(Job 42:2).

You have to understand that through these test and trials, God is perfecting patience in your life, and through patience you become perfect, and whole, wanting nothing (James 1:1-4). It's not your job to know why it's happening. It's not your job to know how it's going to end. It is your job to walk through it, and trust God through out the test, because in the end we always win. No matter what the storm brings, or what the perception of others may be, walk righteously and faithfully with God because, He will see you through.

~For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts(Isaiah 55:8-9).
